Water Softener - No Time Display on PNSF31

If there is no time on the display on your PNSF31, the control unit may not have been assembled properly. The control unit is assembled by the installer, who may not have connected all the wires. You check and correct it yourself.

  1. Remove front control cover. Push in on snaps on each side to remove cover.
  2. Pull cover forward slightly and rest front on top of tank.
  3. Make sure all wires are pressed firmly in place.
  4. Check blue color double wires on the left, black double wires on the right, and the 2 connector blocks, make sure they are connected.
  5. After checking connections, re-assemble control front by aligning cover to snaps on the side. Press down slightly and cover will snap in place.
 
If loose connection was found, and power is restored, control will need to be set. Refer to owner's manual for instructions.Download a copy of Owner's Manual
