Top Load Washer - Deluxe End of Cycle Signal

Most Top Load Washers feature an End-of-Cycle signal to let you know the wash load is complete. Current models typically have a chime or tone to indicate that the wash load is done. Some older Top Load Washers had an End-of-Cycle signal that was a series of beeps.

Understanding the Use of the Deluxe End-of-Cycle Signal

The Deluxe End-of-Cycle signal on GE Profile Washers beeps 10 times in a row, telling you the load is done and then stops.

  • The End-of-Cycle signal can be turned off on model WPSQ4160T.
  • The End-of-Cycle signal is fixed and cannot be turned off on model WPSQ3120T.
  • The non-Profile model WDSR4110T has a variable End-of-Cycle signal that allows you to select the buzzer volume of Off, Medium, or Loud.

Consult the Owner's Manual for the Washer model you own to determine if it has an End-of-Cycle signal and, if so, how to use it.
