Portable Dishwasher - Faucet Unicouple and Aerator
A portable dishwasher must be connected to a kitchen sink faucet and comes with the components needed to connect to the faucet.
- Note: The faucet adapter is designed to fit standard spouts having internal or external threads. You will find the adapter and two washers in the faucet adapter packet included with your dishwasher.
Connecting a Portable Dishwasher To a Kitchen Faucet
Aerator Faucet Adapter
An aerator adapter is supplied with each portable dishwasher. Remove the existing strainer or aerator and screw on the aerator adapter. It fits most standard faucet spouts. An aerator faucet adapter adapts your kitchen faucet to accept the dishwasher hose connection and reduces splashing in the sink when the dishwasher is not hooked-up.
Unicouple Faucet Connector
The Unicouple slips onto the aerator adapter and locks into place to supply hot water to the dishwasher through the top hose. Used water drains through the lower hose and out the bottom of the Unicouple into the sink. The Unicouple faucet adapter provides a simple, quick connect and disconnect of hot water to the dishwasher. A pressure-release valve lets you disconnect the hose from faucet without splashing.
Unicouple Hose
- Dishwasher Unicouple hoses are 32" from the back of appliance to the Unicouple connection.
- The hose comes out of the back near the back left corner (same place as the power cord).
