Dishwasher - Styrofoam

Dishwashers have styrofoam placed in the vent area on the dishwasher door to prevent moisture from the steam and humidity from dripping. This styrofoam is part of the product and not the packing, so do not remove.  On electronic models, removal can cause moisture to reach the circuit board and short it out. If removed, it would require service to replace.  

Foam may be also used under the dishwasher, and is also not packing material. Do not remove.
