Air Conditioner - Use in Hazardous Environments

GE Appliances does not manufacture Class 1 Division air conditioning units (including Zonelines) that will operate in hazardous environments. These units are not approved or insulated (explosion proof) to withstand being in a high chemical fume area.  An example of a hazardous environment would be an off-shore oil rig operation.
