Microwave - Defrost-by-Weight Feature

This feature (NLA) found on select microwaves enabled defrosting of large, dense items thoroughly while avoiding partial cooking of the outer portions.

This feature defrosted food based upon food group and weight  (check Owner's Manual for different weight codes).   The system utilized 3 power levels that were determined by the food group; Meat, Poultry or Seafood. The weight of the food determined the time the food was to be defrosted. Minimum weight was 1/10 of a pound. Maximum weight is 6 pounds of meat and poultry, 3 pounds of seafood.
