Microwave - Corn on the Cob

Cooked in the Husk: Remove most of the outer leaves leaving a thin layer. Place ears in a 2 or 3 quart casserole dish and cover tightly with lid or plastic wrap. At half the time, the ears should be rearranged. See below times. Let stand 5 minutes after cooking.

 
  • 1 ear = 3-5 min.
  • 2 ears = 4-9 min.
  • 3 ears = 9-12 min.
  • 4 ears= 10-17 min.
 

 

 

Cooked Husked: Place husked corn in 2-3 quart casserole or 13 x 9 dish. Add 1/4 cup water and cover. Best to rearrange every 4 minutes. Allow to stand 5 minutes.

 
  • 1 ear = 2-5 min.
  • 2 ears = 4.5-10 min.
  • 3 ears = 6-12 min.
  • 4 ears = 7.5-16 min.
