Microwave - Leftovers
Reheating Tips:Most foods reheat better if covered. Because they can easily overcook, it is recommended to stir or rearrange during reheating.
Turkey: Do not attempt to reheat a whole turkey, it will heat unevenly. Best to slice and place on a platter. Turkey will toughen easily so covering with gravy is recommended. Microwave on Medium (5) or Med. High (7) until hot. (Reheat for short amount of time and add time if necessary).
Refrigerated main dishes/casseroles: Medium power level (5) works best. Usually 8-13 minutes to begin and add time if necessary.
Roast type meats: Again slice and place on a platter and cover with wax paper.
- 1 serving = 1 min.
- 2 servings = 2.5-3 mins.
- 4 servings= 3-4 mins.
Canned vegetables: Approximately 2 minutes per cup at High power (10).
Breads:
- 2 rolls = 30-45 seconds
- 4 rolls = 30 seconds-1 mins.
- 6-8 rolls = 1 min.-1 min. 45 seconds
