How much of a pressure drop to expect after installing a Whole Home / Household Filtration System:

 

There is a wide variation due to factors such as configuration of the plumbing, flow rates, and inlet pressure. Typically though, a consumer can expect a max pressure drop of 5-10 psi if they have the faucet wide open, like filling a bath tub.

 

Filter cartridge should be changed every 3 months. If water is of poor quality, you may need to change the filter more often.
