Upright Freezer - Drop Front Shelf

This feature was offered on some older Hotpoint and GE Appliances upright freezer models. The Drop Front Shelf feature is no longer available on our freezers.

 

The Drop Front Shelf consisted of a wire cover that extends across the bottom of the freezer. Large, bulky items could be stored on the floor of the freezer and the drop front shelf allows access and keeps the large items from falling out. To open, lift up slightly, pull forward and the front will hinge downward.
