Residential dryers typically feature a choice of automatic dry cycles as well as a timed dry cycle. Commercial dryers typically do not offer these dry cycle options.

Understanding No Timer Dial or Button on a Commercial Dryer

Commercial dryers with coin slides start when the slide with coin is pushed in; therefore there is no timer for the user to set or advance. When you push the coin slide into the dryer, it is typically pre-set from the factory to run for 45 minutes.
