Wall Oven - Warm and Hold or Cook and Hold Feature

Select older Built-In wall ovens had a "Warm / Hold" or "Cook / Hold" feature. Warm / Hold worked in one of two ways, depending on the model. New wall ovens do not have this feature.

Using the Warm / Hold Feature on a Wall Oven

  • At the end of a time bake function the oven will automatically go into a warm hold at 150 degrees Fahrenheit and stay at that temperature until you turn it off.
  • At the end of a time bake function the oven will automatically go into a warm hold of 170 degrees Fahrenheit and stay at that temperature for 90 minutes, then cycle off.

During the use of Warm / Hold, the oven will "beep" every 10 seconds to remind you that you are on Warm / Hold. Refer to the Owner's Manual for your model to determine if the wall oven had this feature and which style of Warm / Hold it uses.
