Refrigerator - Keurig® Brewing System Heating Time
Refrigerators with the Keurig® K-Cup Brewing System have a dedicated 20 oz stainless tank that holds filtered water for heating. The hot water tank is fed directly from the water coming into the refrigerator and does not use the water from the separate chilled water reservoir.
- When heating is completed, the “Hot Water Ready” screen will appear and the red light around the hot water knob will glow.
- Once water is dispensed through the brewer, cold water enters the tank and mixes with the remaining hot water.
- If you need hot water to brew a second cup, the heating time will be less since the water in the tank is warmer.
