Refrigerator - Keurig® Brewing System Selecting Coffee or Cocoa

On refrigerators with the Keurig® K-Cup Brewing System, you are giving the option to select Coffee or Cocoa when using the Single Serve Brewing System. It is important to choose the correct beverage type for better performance and to reduce the chance of clogging the brewer piercing pins.

CoffeeSelect this for all filtered coffees and teas. These K-Cup pods have a small filter at the top of the cup. If you hold the cup to the light, you can see the filter.

CocoaSelect this for all non-filtered coffees, hot chocolate, soups, ciders, and chai latte teas. These K-Cup pods do not use a filter, so the beverage is loose in the cup. Most coffees are filtered; however, cappuccino pods are instant coffee mixes and don't use filters.
