Refrigerators with the Keurig® K-Cup Brewing System have the ability to connect to the SmartHQ™ app (download for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play) on your smartphone through your WiFi. Have hot water ready for you any time of day; just schedule hot water through the SmartHQ app and enjoy ultimate convenience.

Scheduling Hot Water

If you want your water heated ahead of time, consider downloading the SmartHQ app. Using the SmartHQ app, you can schedule hot water for any day and any time, and the refrigerator will maintain the hot water for 15 minutes.

What to Expect When Scheduling Hot Water

If you scheduled hot water, below are some normal situations that can occur:

Canceling Hot Water

If you used the SmartHQ app to schedule hot water, it cannot be canceled using the app. To cancel hot water, you must initiate heating from the refrigerator control panel and then cancel heating from the control panel.

Not Brewing

Heating initiated from the SmartHQ app occurs in the background. When heating is completed, you must insert the K-Cup brewer or the controls on the refrigerator must be manipulated to begin the dispensing process. This is done by inserting the brewer or pressing the hot water key.
