Range & Wall Oven - Temperature Display

A range or wall oven will show the set oven temperature in the display. The set oven temperature will typically not show until the oven has finished preheating.

Viewing the Temperature In the Control Panel Display on a Range or Wall Oven

When preheating, the oven's temperature display will show "100° F" or "PrE" for preheat. 100° F is the lowest temperature shown in the display. The display will not change until the oven temperature, sensed by the oven sensor located in the back of the oven is 100° Fahrenheit or greater.

On many models, once the set temperature is reached, the oven will beep and the display will change to the set temperature. On Profile™ models, you will typically see the temperature progress to the set point.
