Dishwasher - Standard Lower Spray Arm Removal
In models without extending wash towers, the lower spray arm may be able to be removed to check the fine filter underneath. Check the Owner's Manual for instructions. Download a copy of the Owner's Manual.
-
If the Owner's Manual doesn't provide instructions, the lower spray arm is not owner removable.
-
Do not remove the spray arm immediately after a wash cycle. Wait until the heating element and interior has cooled.
On models that have a standard removable lower arm:
-
Remove the lower rack to access the lower spray arm.
-
Gently lift up on the body of the spray arm while rotating it counter-clockwise about 90 degrees. This will "unscrew" the arm assembly and permit its removal.
-
To replace, put the spray arm back into place and turn the body clockwise until it locks into place.
