Dishwasher - Standard Lower Spray Arm Removal
In Dishwasher models without an extending wash tower in the middle of the lower spray arm, the lower spray arm may be able to be removed to check the fine filter underneath.
Removing a Standard Lower Spray Arm in the Bottom of a Dishwasher
We strongly recommend that you check the Owner's Manual for your specific Dishwasher model for instructions regarding lower spray arm removal.
If the Owner's Manual doesn't provide instructions, the lower spray arm is not owner removable.
Do not remove the spray arm immediately after a wash cycle. Wait until the heating element and interior has cooled.
Models That Have a Standard Removable Lower Spray Arm
Remove the lower rack to access the lower spray arm.
Gently lift up on the body of the spray arm while rotating it counter-clockwise about 90 degrees. This will "unscrew" the arm assembly and permit its removal.
To replace, put the spray arm back into place and turn the body clockwise until it locks into place.
