Double Oven, Double Oven with Microwave or Hi-Lo Range - Replacement

Eventually an older built-in electric double wall oven, combination double wall oven with microwave or Advantium, or Hi-Lo range will need to be replaced. This article provides basic information regarding the replacement of this style of appliance.

Replacing a Double Oven, Double Oven with Microwave or Advantium or a Hi-Lo Range

Built-in double oven or double ovens with microwave/Advantium are designed as one model and are wired together. You cannot replace just one of the ovens or the microwave/Advantium. You would need to replace the entire double oven.

Hi-Lo ranges are designed as one model so that the oven and microwave are wired together. You cannot replace just the microwave or just the oven. It would require replacing the model. These are very old models. The model number typically starts with the letters JHP.

• Since we no longer manufacture Hi-Lo ranges, if a range and microwave is needed we recommend purchasing a free-standing or slide-in range with an over-the-range microwave above it.
