Gas Range - Dual Purpose / Dual Oval Center Burner

The Dual Purpose (Dual Oval) center burner found on select gas freestanding ranges features a combination round and oval center burner. This center burner has a fully functional 9,500 BTU round burner with additional sections at the front and back of the burner to make a large 10,000 BTU oval burner.

Using the Dual Purpose / Dual Oval Center Burner on a Gas Range

The burner temperature selections for "Round" or "Griddle" are on the knob itself. See the Owner's Manual for model specific use and more information.

• Round: Push in on the knob and turn it clockwise toward "Round" so that only the round center section of the burner will light. The burner can be adjusted from Lo to High like any standard burner. This is ideal for small pots and pans.
• Griddle: First, light the round burner by pushing in the knob and turning clockwise to Round. Then, push in on the knob again and turn the knob counter-clockwise to "Griddle" to light the entire oval burner. You can choose Lo, Med, and Hi. This is ideal for grills, griddles, and oversized pans.
