Ice Maker - No Ice Production
If your Ice Maker is not producing ice, check to make sure it is powered on and has water. The following are some troubleshooting tips for a Standalone Ice Maker, not an icemaker in a Refrigerator. For Refrigerator icemakers, please see our Refrigerator - Icemaker Not Producing Ice article.
Checking an Ice Maker That Is Not Producing Ice
- Press the ON/OFF button to make sure the Ice Maker power is on.
- Check the home electrical circuit breaker.
- If the Check Water light is flashing Red, then the water supply is low.
- The control system checks for water every 20 minutes. When the water supply is restored, the appliance will automatically reset.
- If the auger motor is not working or overloaded and lights are flashing, then reset by pressing the ON/OFF button.
