Ice Maker - Normal Noise
This article is discussing standalone ice makers, not an icemaker inside a refrigerator.
Understanding Normal Sounds Produced When an Ice Maker Is Running
Our ice makers are designed for quiet operation but will make some noise during the ice making cycle.
During a freezing cycle, it is normal to hear the fan moving air and the water pump circulating water.
Ice hitting the bin or ice in the bin can be heard during harvest.
Note:
We do not recommend using a timer with the ice machine, this includes an appliance grade timer.
This is a standalone ice maker, not an icemaker in a refrigerator.
