Refrigerator - Removing the Tilt-Out Freezer Bins

Tilt-Out freezer door bins have a wire basket that sits within a plastic shelf frame. The tilt out basket makes for easier access to small items.

To separate the wire basket from the shelf, first remove the shelf from the freezer door. Where the wire basket connects to the shelf on both sides there is a keyhole shaped hole. The basket has prongs on both sides that sit in the short part of the keyhole. There is a small tab that keeps it in place. All you have to do is pull up on the wire basket firmly and it will pull the prongs into the large part of the keyhole. Then you just flex the plastic shelf frame at both ends to be able to pull the basket out of the shelf frame.
