Advantium - Proofing

The Proofing feature automatically provides an appropriate temperature for the proofing process for bread and other dough that rises; therefore, it does not have a temperature adjustment. The temperature reached during Proofing is approximately 80-100 degrees.

Do not use the proofing mode for warming food or keeping food hot. The proofing oven temperature is not hot enough to hold foods at safe temperatures. Use the WARM feature to keep food warm.

Before you begin:

  1. If the oven is hot, Proof cannot be set until the interior has cooled.
  2. Make sure the turntable is in place.
  3. Put bread dough in a bowl or bread pan and place on the metal tray. Dough should be covered.
  4. To avoid lowering the oven temperature and lengthening the proofing time, do not open the oven door unnecessarily.

This is to ensure proper proofing. The Owner's Manual covers the proper cookware in detail.
