GE Appliance - Cleaning Slate Appliances

Slate is a highly engineered, low-gloss matte, metallic paint finish that resists fingerprints and doesn't show dirt easily.

 

To clean any Slate finish surface or gray plastic / painted surfaces:

• Wipe with a damp, clean soft cloth using a mild household or dish detergent. Dry thoroughly with a dry, clean soft cloth.

• You may also use Cerama Bryte™ Appliance Cleaner (WX10X392) to clean the Slate finish.

• Use appliance wax or polish to shine.

 

To clean the stainless handles on Slate appliances:

• Wipe with a damp, clean soft cloth using a mild household or dish detergent. Dry thoroughly with a dry, clean soft cloth.

• You may also use a stainless steel cleaner like Cerama Bryte™ Stainless Steel Cleaner (PM10X311) or a similar product to clean the stainless handles.

 

Do not use scouring pads, powdered cleaners, bleach or cleaners containing bleach to clean the Slate finish.
