Refrigerator – Removing Space Saving Ice Bucket

Select French-Door refrigerators offer Space Saving Ice, which is an icemaker located on the left fresh food door. The Space Saving icemaker stores 3.8 lbs. of ice that can be dispensed through a dispenser on the door or by removing the ice bucket from the door.

 

Removing and Replacing the Ice Storage Bucket on French-Door Refrigerators With Space Saving Ice

Removing the Ice Bucket

  1. Open the left fresh food door and locate the icemaker on the inside of the door.

  2. Pull down on the handle to unlock the ice compartment door.

  3. Open the ice compartment door.

  4. Grasp the handle at the top of the bin and lift the bucket up and out.

Replacing the Ice Bucket

  1. Insert the bucket straight into the ice compartment opening in the door with the flat side facing outward.

  2. Make sure the bucket is secure.

  3. Close the ice compartment door and raise the handle into the locked position.
