Washers - Installation in Unheated Location

A washers should never be installed or stored where it will be exposed to temperatures near freezing (ex. a garage) or exposed to the weather. This can cause the washer's water valves to freeze or cause other permanent damage. Our manufacturing warranty does not cover defects or damage due to operation in freezing temperatures. Please review your Owner's Manual for installation and warranty details.It is acceptable to store a washer in an unheated location if you first winterize the unit.
