Dishwasher - New Dishwasher Wet Inside

We understand that you may be concerned if you get a brand new Dishwasher and notice some water inside when you uncrate the appliance. Your first thought may be that the Dishwasher has been used and returned or has been damaged. Seeing a small amount of water inside the brand new Dishwasher is not a cause for concern.

Understanding Why a New Dishwasher May Have Water Inside 

Dishwashers are tested at the factory before they are shipped. If your new Dishwasher has some water inside the tub or if there is water dripping from the drain hose, this is normal. This is residual water that did not clear the appliance during the testing process at the factory.
