Refrigerator Energy Smart Display

When some older refrigerators were connected to a utility company provided energy meter, the control panel could display the words "Energy Smart" and will go into an Energy Smart mode. This mode delays the defrost cycles until it is in a lower cost timeframe. This is not a feature on current refrigerators. 

If the "Energy Smart" symbol displays or blinks on the front control panel and is not connected to an energy meter, please try the following remove the display:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Press the button that says "Energy Smart Searching...".
3. Press "Cancel" on the next screen. "Searching Canceled" will display.
