Monogram Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Removing Custom Panels

We offer select models of Panel-Ready Built-In Side-by-Side Refrigerators in our Monogram line of appliances. It is a fairly simple task to remove these panels from the doors.

 

Removing Custom Door Panels on Monogram Built-In Side-by-Side Refrigerators

  1. Open the door to 90°.

  2. Remove the 6 Phillips head screws from the door handle or aluminum trim cover (used when using custom handles).

  3. Remove the handle or cover. Retain all screws.

  4. Remove the 6 screws holding the trim on the handle side; lift off the trim. Retain the screws.

  5. Slide out the panel from the door trim (non-dispenser models).

Dispenser Models Only

The dispenser controls protrude beyond the face of the freezer door. To avoid damage to the dispenser, the trim at the top of the door should be removed.

 

  1. Open the door to 90°.

  2. Remove the 6 Phillips head screws from the door handle or aluminum trim cover (used when using custom handles).

  3. Remove the handle or cover. Retain all screws.

  4. Remove the screws holding the top trim in place.

  5. Remove the dispenser trim by carefully using a putty knife along the edges to pry off the trim. The trim is held in by clips.

  6. Slide out the top freezer panel, being careful not to hit the dispenser controls.
