It is important to choose the correct size of dehumidifier to get the best performance from the appliance.
Sizing a Dehumidifier Properly
Selecting the right size of dehumidifier will depend on both the amount of moisture in the air and the size of the room. Use the below chart to help guide you in your decision and assume an eight foot ceiling height. If your ceiling is 10 feet high, add 25% to the room's square footage.
