Dehumidifier Storage

When the dehumidifier is not being used for long periods of time, the unit should be cleaned, dried, and stored in a dry location.

1. Turn off the power and unplug the unit.
2. Empty the water tank and clean with dish soap and water or a solution of 90% water and 10% bleach.
3. Dry the tank thoroughly.
4. Remove the filter by pulling the filter handle and pulling straight out.
5. Clean the filter with warm (not hot) water and dish soap.
6. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
7. Repackage the unit in the original carton if possible.
8. Store upright in a dry location.
