Dryer - Steam Refresh Cycle

On Dryers with Steam features, cold water is connected to the Dryer and injected into the heated Dryer in a fine mist or vapor. The heat from the Dryer creates steam from the mist or vapor. Steam cycles help reduce wrinkles in clothes; however, they are not intended for towels. Most Dryers with Steam features will offer a Steam Refresh cycle.

Using the Steam Refresh Cycle

The Steam Refresh cycle is a short steam cycle used for 3 to 5 slightly wrinkled dry garments. It significantly reduces wrinkles.

  • The temperature setting must be set to HIGH and water must be turned on before running the Steam Refresh cycle.
  • Using Steam Refresh for single items, especially ones with light fabric, may not achieve optimum results.
