Dehumidifier - Will Not Shut Off

It is important to note that when using a dehumidifier, if not set in the Continuous Mode or Non-stop Mode, the compressor and fan will turn off when the dehumidifier reaches the set relative humidity level. If the appliance is set for Continuous or Non-stop, it is perfectly normal that it runs all the time and never shuts off.

Resetting a Dehumidifier That Will Not Shut Off

If the dehumidifier will not shut off when the bucket is full or when the air reaches the desired set point, it is not operating properly. You may try to reset the dehumidifier by disconnecting power for 30 seconds and re-connecting the power.

Additional Support

Should the reset process not resolve the concern, please refer to the model's warranty located in the Owner's Manual.

If the dehumidifier is out of warranty and in need of a repair, check with local servicers to see if they service dehumidifiers. Bodewell does not service dehumidifiers.
