GE Appliances Account - Editing / Updating Phone Number

Editing, Updating, or Adding a Phone Number

  • Log into your Account: Account Login.

  • Click on Account Details.

  • Click the edit icon (a box with pencil) to the right of the Account information you want to change.

 

Note:

  • Your email address is also your Account login. If you change the email address, the new email becomes your new username.

  • You cannot use Internet Explorer (IE) to log into your Account; other browsers are supported. 

 

Adding Phone Number

  1. Click Add New Phone Number 

  2. Fill out Phone Number field.

  3. Primary Phone Number box:

    • If you are just adding a second phone number, do not click the Make Primary Phone Number box.

    • If you have not already specified a Primary phone number, click the Make Primary Phone Number box.

    • If you already have a Primary Phone Number  in your account, but are changing it, clicking the Make Primary Address box will switch an existing primary Phone Number to the new one. If it does not, try editing the Primary phone number to the new one.

  4. Click Save.

 

Modifying Phone Number

  1. Under your Primary Phone Number or Additional Phone Numbers, click Edit to modify the phone number(s).

  2. Click Save.

  3. You'll get a pop-up that says "Your changes have been saved to your Phone Numbers." Click OK.

 

Removing (Deleting) Phone Number 

  1. Under your Additional Phone Numbers, click Delete remove the phone number(s).

    • You must have a Primary Phone Number, so there is not an option to delete it. Instead, Edit the phone number to the new one.

  2. Click Save.

  3. You'll get a pop-up that says "This phone number will be removed from your account." Click OK.
