Range - Baking Drawer Calibration with Temperature Control Knob

If your gas or electric baking drawer does not match your expectations, you can calibrate (adjust) the drawer baking temperature. The steps for calibration depend on the type of oven controls.

For models with a temperature control knob for the baking drawer:

  1. Remove the Baking Drawer knob by pulling it off the shaft.

  2. Loosen both screws on the back of the knob.

  3. Put the knob back on the range and turn the knob to make the temperature adjustment. Each click changes the temperature by 10 degrees F.

    • To increase the oven temperature, turn the knob to the left to make the drawer hotter.

    • To decrease the oven temperature, turn the knob to the right to make the drawer cooler.

  4. Once the knob has been adjusted to the right or left, remove the knob again, tighten the screws and replace the knob.
