Monogram Refrigerator - Side-by-Side - Removing and Replacing Ice Bucket

Use the below steps to remove and replace the ice bucket from the freezer compartment of a Monogram Side-by-Side Refrigerator. 

To Remove the Bucket: 

1. Place your left hand under the bottom of the bucket, and use your right hand to support the lower front corner.

2. Gently lift the bucket straight up about ¼ of an inch, then pull the bucket straight out.

 

To Replace the Bucket: 

1. Make sure the auger fork is in the proper position to receive the auger bar at the back of the bucket. The auger bar must slide into the auger fork.

   • When in the correct position, there will be no gap between the icemaker and the ice bucket.

2. Lift the bucket, placing it in the support brackets on either side and sliding it into position.

   • If the auger bar does not slide between the auger forks, the bucket will not go all the way back into the freezer. Re-position the auger bar and reinsert the bucket.
