GE Appliances Account - Editing / Updating Email Address and Password or Deleting Account
Changing Email Address and Password or Deleting Account
- Log into your Account: Account Login.
- Click on Account Details.
Note:
- Your email address is also your Account login. If you change the email address, the new email becomes your new username.
- You cannot use Internet Explorer (IE) to log into your Account; other browsers are supported.
Changing or Editing Email Address
- Click the Edit to the right of the Email Address.
- Add the new email address.
- Click Save.
- You will get an email to Verify the new email address. Be sure to click the link in the email within 24 hours to complete the change.
Changing Password
- Click the Edit to the right of the Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter a new password (Must have at least 8 characters and at least 3 of the following: Uppercase letter, Lowercase letter, Number, and/or Special symbol (ex. &, #, @).
- Re-enter your password.
- Click Save.
Deleting Your Account
- Click the Delete Account to the right of the Email Address.
- A pop-up box will appear asking "Are you sure you want to delete Account?". Click Confirm.
