GE Appliances Account - Editing / Updating Email Address and Password or Deleting Account

Changing Email Address and Password or Deleting Account

  1. Log into your Account: Account Login.
  2. Click on Account Details.
Note:
  • Your email address is also your Account login. If you change the email address, the new email becomes your new username.
  • You cannot use Internet Explorer (IE) to log into your Account; other browsers are supported.

Changing or Editing Email Address

  1. Click the Edit to the right of the Email Address.
  2. Add the new email address.
  3. Click Save.
  4. You will get an email to Verify the new email address. Be sure to click the link in the email within 24 hours to complete the change.

Changing Password

  1. Click the Edit to the right of the Password.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter a new password (Must have at least 8 characters and at least 3 of the following: Uppercase letter, Lowercase letter, Number, and/or Special symbol (ex. &, #, @).
  4. Re-enter your password.
  5. Click Save.

Deleting Your Account

  1. Click the Delete Account to the right of the Email Address.
  2. A pop-up box will appear asking "Are you sure you want to delete Account?". Click Confirm.
