Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - Turn Cooling On/Off, Not Cooling Capacitive-Touch Controls Style

If the refrigerator is not cooling, then the cooling system may have been turned off. If you have capacitive-touch refrigerator style controls as shown below, follow the steps listed below for turning the cooling system On or OFF.

 

Identifying Capacitive-Touch Controls

Location: Exterior on the Left Refrigerator Door

Using the Capacitive-Touch Controls

Turning the cooling system off stops the cooling to the refrigerator but it does not shut off the electrical power.

 

  • To turn ON, press Fridge or Freezer.

  • To turn OFF the cooling system press and hold the Fridge and Ice Maker buttons.
