Advantium - Glass & Metal Trays, Rack, and Turntable Support

Advantium ovens have a glass tray, a metal tray, and a wire rack that are used with different cook modes. The trays sit on a turntable support that should not be removed while the Advantium is in use.

Glass Tray

  • Used when using Microwave features, such as microwave cooking or Defrost.
  • Place food or microwave-safe cookware directly on the glass tray.
  • To clean: Allow the tray to cool completely and wash in hot, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasives to clean the glass tray. Dry completely before replacing the tray in the oven.

Note: Some older Advantium ovens came with a white ceramic tray instead of a glass tray. For more information, see: Advantium - White Ceramic Tray.

Metal Tray

  • Used when using Speedcook Mode, Convection Baking, Broil, Warming, Proof, and Toast.
  • Place food directly on the tray when using Speedcook, Broil, and Toast (other modes: use wire rack)
  • Metal trays are porcelain enamel coated. Trays labeled as "non-stick" have a ceramic PTFE and PFOA free coating.
  • To clean: Allow the tray to cool completely and wash in hot, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. A plastic scrubbing pad may be used.  Dry completely before replacing the tray in the oven.

Wire Rack

  • Used when Convection Baking or Warming.
  • Place food on a metal pan or in an oven-safe dish on the wire rack. The wire rack is placed on the metal tray or on the supports on the cavity wall (varies by model).
  • To clean: Allow the rack to cool completely and wash in hot, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasives to clean the wire rack. Dry completely before using the rack.

Turntable Support

  • Used in all modes.
  • To clean: Wash carefully in warm, sudsy water. Dry completely and replace by placing its center over the spindle in the center of the oven and turn it until it seats into place.
