Window Air Conditioners - Temperature Not Displayed

Beginning in late 2017, most window air conditioners will have a display that will fade after two minutes. The power saver mode (also referred to as Control Display Automatic Off) helps save energy, as well as provides a light-free display in dark bedrooms, etc. 
 
On many 2019 and newer models, you can toggle this feature on or off:
  1. Press and hold the SLEEP pad on the unit, for 5 seconds.
  2. The unit will beep to signal the successful toggle of the feature on and off.
