Window Air Conditioner - Temperature Not Displayed

If the temperature is not being displayed on your window air conditioner, this is not necessarily an indication of a problem with the appliance. Many window air conditioners are designed to not display the temperature constantly.

Temperature Not Displayed on a Window Air Conditioner

Beginning in late 2017, most window air conditioners will have a display that will fade after two minutes. The Power Saver mode, also referred to as Control Display Automatic Off, helps save energy, as well as provides a light-free display in dark bedrooms.

On Many 2019 and Newer Models, You Can Toggle This Feature On or Off

1. Press and hold the SLEEP pad on the air conditioner for 5 seconds.
2. The appliance will beep to signal the successful toggle of the feature on and off.
