Purpose of the Induction Cooktop Baffle

Our induction cooktops come with a flat, metal deflector piece called a baffle. The baffle attaches to the bottom of the cooktop and helps distribute heat and direct hot air properly. This baffle must be installed unless the cooktop is installed over a single wall oven.
