Dehumidifier Operation
A dehumidifier works in a very similar manner to an air conditioner. The unit draws air across a set of refrigerated, dehumidifying coils called a condenser. Moisture in the warm air collects and condenses on the cooled, condenser coils and drains down into a bucket (or through a hose and drain). Dry, clean air is drawn through the condenser where it is heated and discharged out the top grille into the room. It is normal for the surrounding air to become slightly warmer as the dehumidifier operates.
