Monogram Bar Refrigerator - Drain Requirements

A bar refrigerator like the ZIBS240H and ZIBI240H is different than a standalone ice machine and does not require a drain. 

Standalone icemakers require a drain pump because the ice compartment is refrigerated, not frozen. Ice constantly melts and is drained away, and is constantly replenished by the ice system. A bar refrigerator with icemaker works more like a full sized refrigerator with icemaker. The ice in the icemaker stays frozen, so there is no melting ice to drain.  This means that this it does not require a drain pump, and is not designed to use one.
