Air Conditioner No Rear Cover

Window air conditioners do not have a rear grille or cover. The rear fins are exposed and not are not designed to be covered. This is common cross all major brands, and has been the design for many years. Minor damage and bending on the fins is normal and will not have any appreciable effect on performance.
