Microwave - Damper Stuck Message

For some GE Profile™ and Café over-the-range microwaves, you might see a "DAMPER STUCK" message displayed on the control panel.

Cause for Damper Stick Message

These models have a damper operation that is controlled by a motor and is designed to regulate the temperature during convection mode cooking. If you see a "DAMPER STUCK" message, it will require service to check the internal damper operation.
