Upright Freezer - Turbo Freeze

Turbo Freeze is a feature available on many Upright Freezer models. When this feature is turned on, it will cause the Freezer to cool to the lowest temperature and hold that temperature for 8 hours unless manually turned off.

Using the Turbo Freeze Feature on an Upright Freezer

When the door is opened the fan will turn off, so it is normal to feel little to no air flow. When in Turbo Freeze mode the evaporator temperature is much colder, so even though the fan is not on a gentle breeze may be felt due to the natural convection created by the much colder air temperature.

To activate Turbo Freezer, press the Turbo Freeze pad until the ON light illuminates. Turbo Freeze will remain on for 8 hours and then go off automatically. At that time, the Turbo Freeze ON light goes off. You can turn off Turbo Freeze earlier than the 8 hours by simply pressing the Turbo Freeze pad.
