Dishwasher - Sanitized Light Not On at End of Cycle
Some dishwasher models have a Sanitization Cycle (also called the Sani-Wash, Sanitize, or Anti-Bacteria cycle). When the sanitation process is successfully completed, the Sanitized Light will illuminate or a Cycle Sanitized message will display.
Diagnosing a Sanitized Light That Is Not On at the End of a Sanitization Cycle
The Sanitized light will not illuminate or the Cycle Sanitized message may not appear at the end of a cycle for the following reasons:
The cycle is interrupted during the main wash cycle.
The cycle is interrupted during the rinse cycle.
If a 150 degrees Fahrenheit temperature cannot be reached after a full hour of final rinse water circulation time the dishwasher will pump out and turn off, the Sanitized light will not illuminate or the Cycle Sanitized message will not appear. To solve this problem, increase the incoming water temperature for the dishwasher to at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit by adjusting your hot water tank settings according to its Use and Care manual.
