Ice Maker - How to Use the Cleaner

You should clean your standalone ice maker as recommended in the Owner's Manual for your specific model. It is typically recommended to clean the ice maker about every six months. Most models have a Time to Clean indicator on the control panel that will light up after 5 months to indicate it is time to purchase some cleaner. The indicator will flash after 6 months to let you know it is time to clean the machine.
