Countertop Microwave - Interior Light Not Working

If your microwave has an interior light, the light will stay on when the door is open. If your microwave has a light in the cavity of the microwave and it's stopped working, the light bulb (lamp) or lamp socket may be at fault.

The interior light in your countertop microwave is not consumer replaceable due to its location in the microwave. The microwave would need to be disassembled, which we don't recommend that you do at home for safety reasons. Many countertop microwaves are not cost effective to repair and parts are often not stocked. Built-in capable countertop models may be serviceable, however.
