Dishwasher - Removing Spots or Film from Dishes or Interior of Tub

To remove spots and film from stainless steel, plastic, or hybrid interior tubs, try a vinegar rinse. This also removes spots or film from glassware and dishes.

 

Vinegar Rinse: 

1. Remove all metal dishes and metal utensils (including silverware and silver dishes).
2. Do not add detergent.
3. Select a longer or heavier wash cycle
4. Start the dishwasher and allow to run until 15 to 20 minutes (the dishwasher will now be in the main wash).
5. Open the door and pour 2 cups (500ml) of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher.
6. Close door and allow the dishwasher to complete the cycle.
